Question about Tessa

Question about Tessa

So my wedding planner had me come in last night to look at wedding invitations. I left feeling totally deflated. I looked at TONS of invitations and the only one that I liked was too expensive (she wasn't even going to show me the book, but I asked to see it just for fun). I told her about Tessa and that I really liked my mockup designs from her, but, my planner made me think that a custom design was going to be out of my price range as well. Have you girls been able to keep within your budget with Tessa? I really want pretty invitations and those are the only ones I like so far.

From what I have seen, yea. Tessa's quality is amazing for the price she offers. Did you tell her your budget that you had in mind? Tessa usually works with that.

Re: Question about Tessa

she was really great and VERY willing to work within my budget, and my budget was NOT high - she came in under! and i love what she did. i would go to her website and e-mail her the idea inventory and let her know what kind of budget you have and what you are looking for. Good luck!

Re: Question about Tessa

I'm #2 on the list for preliminary designs and I can't take the suspense! I don't know what she is going to charge me yet, but I think she would work with you on price or at least try her best too.

Not to change the point of the post, but do Tessa's invites have raised type?

no her invites are flat print, that's the only thing keeping me iffy about it, I'm gonna decide when I get mine in the mail if it bothers me or not

i thought it would bother me too, but my seller also only does flat printing and it came out beautifully regardless!

Re: Question about Tessa

Tessa came in under my budget. Which was not hi at all. I ended up not getting pocketfolds cause I knew that would raise the price.... but I love my flat invites. They are what I wanted.

Re: Question about Tessa

Before having Tessa make my invites I looked at sooooo many... got soooo many samples... and they were all flimsy and expensive! However, Tessa worked under my budget and I can not even tell you how impressed I am with my invite!

Plus she is an absolute sweetheart to work with.

I highly recommend A Bridal Paperie. They are in Plainview and I got just what I wanted $500 less than anywhere else I looked.

I wanted raised printing
double layer (I wound up with triple layer)

I didn't have to pay shipping, sample fees, etc and they are wholesale prices. I liked tessa's work but couldn't do the flat printing.

it's worth the trip to meet with Judy

Re: Question about Tessa

Tessa came in under my budget was well. My invites came to $3.75/invite. That is amazing! If you start pricing around, you will see how reasonable that is for all she does.

How do you get in touch with Tessa? does she have a website?

All I can say is that you will love her. She is the sweetest person EVER and is totally responsive and, price-wise, cheaper than any formal invitation vendor I researched. She will undoubtedly work with any budget. I can't wait for my proof.
