I have heard a lot on this board about having uneven attendents. I have my bridesmaids already, and I have 5. FH has 3 groomsmen so far, but is unsure if he wants to ask anyone else. Would this look right. How do you handle the percessional?

Re: Question about the bridal party
My bridal party couldn't be more uneven. We are-
1 MOH 1 BM 2 FG ____ 1 BM (bestman) 3 GM
For the processional, only the women are walking down. (With 1 BM, I thought it would look funny if she is escorted and the MOH is not).
On the recessional, each BM will walk back with 2 GM (one on each arm).
You can make it work. And it is really more important to have the people up there with you that are most important, even if the numbers aren't even.

I couldnt agree more!!! at first I was like NO WAY i want nice and even blah blah blah..... well now i have 4 girls who are definites and fh has 7 guys. i am considering 2 cousins but I am waiting till it gets closer cause one is out of state the the other is in college.. I am having the closest people to me... and i wanted him to be able to have the closest people to him!!! I couldnt imagine saying dont ask 3 people so we are even!! so i guess it will go like this.. My MOH will walk alone as she should.... his BM will be standing up their with him, and each remaining girl will get two cuties on her arm hahahaha.

Re: Question about the bridal party
oooh I didn't even think of the recessional. Hmm. Here is the line up: 1 MOH 4 Bridesmaids
1 Best Man 2 Groomsmen
Now, there is a possibility that I may promote one of the bridesmaids to be a second MOH. Yikes! Would it be okay if the MOH's walked back up the isle together? Or is that dumb?
