Question about the Watermill-Astor Room

So I've visited the Watermill and I really like the venue but I am a little concerned about the size of the dance floor in the Astor room? I'm planning to have about 150 guests, is it me or does the dance floor seem a little small?

Well I don't have an answer for u but I do have a question. Was their pricing reasonable? I'm going to the showcase on the 26th, and was just wondering. I haven't been there yet but not everyone will be up and dancing at the same time, so that might not be such a big deal. Hope that helps a lil bit.

yes, their pricing was very reasonable but it depends on the time of year and time of day you want your wedding. My wedding is this year, so i got very desirable rates.

Re: Question about the Watermill-Astor Room

We booked the Astor room for my 200 guests...I must say I had the same issues....nevermind the way the seating was...there would be someone sitting on the dance floor since I needed to have ppl at the head of the table...did not like that idea at all...also the table that was closest to my band would have been basically on top of them..and well I wasnt a fan of that either.

I had a winter wedding so the downstairs room was free..so they let me move down there. My BM didnt seem to like the idea bc he said the dance floor may look empty but honestly I was very happy w my move...ppl were on the dance floor all night and they has space to move.

As for $$ they gave me a great deal...and threw in some extras....but again it all depends on when your wedding is....thats why I did off season
