Question about tipping...
Do you tip the DJ? If so, how much? It will be him mc'ing and a DJ. What do you think? Oh, and we are having 119 guests.

We are going to tip our DJ (who is the MC) and the DJ. We are probably going to be giving each of them $50-$75.
Is he the owner?
In my case, the MC is the owner of the company.
Yes, he's the owner.
But aren't their prices marked up enough?? I think they tip themselves with the big $$ they charge!
General rule of thumb is that if your DJ is his own company or is the owner of the company, you di not have to tip (but it's always nice if he/she provides service beyond your expectations, which is how tips should always be....anyway). If the DJ works for the company you hired then you should tip, anywhere from $15-$25/hour worked.
then don't tip him sweetie.. like chefe said..
So, if my DJ owns the company should I just tip the DJ?
I am going to tip my MC (who is the owner of the DJ company).
I mean, the MC owns the company...so should I tip the DJ?
Here is what I am going to do with regards to tipping the DJ and MC. I am going to tip both people $50-$75 even though the MC is the owner of the company.
