I was wondering how to tip owners. I'm using fresh face for makeup and Yun Gen Yang for photo and they all are individual owners. In my wedding ettiquet book it says you do not need to tip them but I feel a little weird. I know they are getting 100% of my money but I was wonder to tip or not to tip. Please HELP!
we only had one vendor that was the owner and we didn't tip him, just the person working with him. However i feel that maybe we should've given him something since he did a great job. I know that probably doesn't help you! IMHO, i don't think i would for make up since they charge so much already just cuz your a bride. If you feel the photographer really did an amazing job, maybe tip him after you see your photos. HTH!
both my makeup artist and photographer own their own businesses but i'm going to tip them...i think they rule really applies more to owners of larger business such as a salon, or catering hall
I am tipping my hair and makeup person and she is the owner as well either $75 or $100 since she is doing my hair and makeup. I just feel like I have to and that I am going to want to.

How much are you planning to tip them?
oh and i just realized that the dj is the owner also...but i'm sure we're going to tip him too...
