Question about Veils

Question about Veils

Who plans on taking theirs off during the reception? Or do you plan on wearing your veil the entire day?

I have no idea what to do. I am going to buy a cathedral length veil so I don't want to wear it during the reception.....but I saw on one of the other boards where girls get a shorter one for the reception. Not sure how I feel about this.....so what do you girls plan on doing?

Re: Question about Veils

i am getting a fingertip length veil & it will depend on if my sister can get it out without messing up my hair. i know my mom wants me to wear it the whole night but sometimes annoying things in my hair for too long give me a headache. so we will see.

I don't wanna risk messing up my hair so.. i plan to wear it all night. But, I am getting a shorter one...maybe shoulder-ish length cuz my dress doesn't have a huge train and it think it would look weird with a catherdal length...

I remember reading reviews about some girls regretting taking off their veil. You are a bride for the most part only once in your life. They said they wished they had more pictures wearing it.

i plan to take it off during the reception. I want to get this denise leli spray as my headpiece and the veil would cover it if i left it on all day...

Re: Question about Veils

I am going to probably have a cathedral length veil for the church but with the ability to take a 'layer' of veil off and have it become a fingertip veil for the reception

That veil is being removed ASAP! I plan on taken it off right after the ceremony!

I think I will take the veil off. I would like blusher and a veil that is as long as my dress and I am thinking I will be breaking my leg if I wore it while dancing.
