Question about Veils

I remember reading reviews about some girls regretting taking off their veil. You are a bride for the most part only once in your life. They said they wished they had more pictures wearing it.

i was the opposite, i wished i had taken it off sooner i had cathedral and elbow length on a single comb so it was detachable. That thing drove me nuts when we were outside taking pics, it was flying ALL over the place and if its cathedral and you want the pics for the full effect you have to carry it in your hands. It was annoying bc for half of the pics i didnt bustle my dress yet and i had to carry my train and my cathedral veil. Once i got off the bus and was in front of JT i yelled 'TAKE THIS THING OFF' i took just cathedral off and then left elbow length but after first dance that came off too.

But i would just see how you feel that day and then decide. I had no clue what i was going to do and just went with how i felt. You can just get a shorter detachable veil.

ETA: HOWEVER i do have to say some of my favorite pics were with my veil but we took pics for a little over 2 hours before the reception so had more than enough pics with the veil on. Once reception started i knew i had plenty of pics and was done with the veil lol

I'm going with a fingertip veil too..

I think I'm gonna see how much it bothers me throughout the reception lol
