Ok girls, so if the vendor doesn't have insurance then that means I cant use them for my wedding day right? Im a little confused about this.

Vendors need to be insured in case something happens.
Contact your reception halls for details.

My RH needs the vendor to make the certificate of insurance (minimum of $2,000,000) with the RH's name on it. They said this is common practice & that it should'nt be a problem.

Thanks for the info girls. I have a photographer that i want to book with but i just found out she doesn't have insurance so now idk what to do. She told me that i can get a letter from my Rh basically stating that if anything happens that i will be held responsible for any damages. That *****

no thank you! dont do it, futuremrsjc2010... you dont want that on your plate on your big day... there are plenty of photographers out there... just my luck, something would go wrong if i got a letter from my RH... JMO!
