Do you guys think it would be possible to book the photographer but go somewhere else for video?

Re: question about video
absolutely. many brides use someone different for video. i think a lot of photo places offer the video, but it is not really their specialty and you can get better by going elsewhere. with my photographer (imagine) you have to use them for both photo & video-they are a husband and wife team. but, they are the only ones i know of that require you to use them for both. i was happy with the quality of imagine's video and i drool over their photos so i decided to go with them.

You can get a feel for photographers and videographers once you get to talking with them. I've found that when one mentions that they can have an all inclusive package you really have to see the work and look for the little things. If they say they ' may ' have to haggle about certain options that magically turn into Extras , Look out. I don't want vendors arguing with each other. Family run business, for me at least are a little more comforting to deal with and seem to take more pride in their work. If they have a problem your end result could suffer. I choose my photograher and videographers after meeting with them and then doing my research from people who have used them. BUT it really came down to my gut. My fiancee loved one company that could do both but I didn't get the same feel from him.
Some offer both as a way to save you money. But there are certainly deals you can make and get 2 different vendors and still end up costing less.
Feel free to FM me for more specific details. Since what I thought about someone can certainly be different from what you may feel.
