Looking for wedding bands... but the way that my engagement ring is, a wedding band wouldn't be able to sit flush against it (without having a bend or whatever else they do to make them fit... but I don't want that, since I'd like to be able to wear the band alone). I'm not sure if I should wear my ering on my right hand (in which case it would need to be sized... it's too small for it now), or reset my ering so that the two would fit together...)
Would love to know about your wedding band and ering! (and would also loooove pictures if you have!)
UPDATE:
Here are pictures so you can see what I mean... the first picture is a view from the side. (sorry its not too clear) see how the prongs are? a band wouldn't even be able to sit close to the ring....

i have a low e-ring setting as well. I revisted the jeweler to get some ideas. these were my options
1) get a higher setting so whatever band i choose it will set or semi flush together depending on the band
2) get a wedding band with a curve
3) wear my e-ring and wedding band on separate hands
or just get a wedding band that is not curved but wont flush together nicely with my e-ring
not sure what I will be doing. I have my eye on a wedding band that I absolutely fell in love with so if i really want it..then my e-ring will have to get a higher setting so it can sit next to each other
so i am still shopping around.
mine isn't because my ering is low... it's a four prong setting -- i'm really bad at explaining, let me take a pic...

What if you got a wedding band that was thin and matched your engagement ring's band and you could wear those together and then also get an eternity band for the other hand or to wear alone?
And then I also don't think it's a big deal to have a space either.....

I had the same exact problem! Mine sits fine, it was just sticking out on the sides like yoursI was getting so upset looking for bands! I finally decided on an eternity band even though there is a space because the band itself was so beautiful. The band has round diamonds that are in an invisible setting (have no prongs). I didn't think I would wear them together because of the space but I have been and absolutely love them together. I think the contrast highlights the rings, I'm not a big matchy matchy person
crappy pic, I took it with my phone BTW, so many places tried to sell me the curved band but I didn't like how it looked by itself

Would it bother you if there was a small space between the band & your e-ring? It might be a very realistic option for you.

It depends what you want. My friend's e-ring would have fit with a wedding band-but she wanted a very unique wedding band, and opted to wear her rings on separate hands. I don't think it matters-it's just what you prefer.

my ring is a 6 prong solitaire... this is my wedding band.. it doesnt sit completely flush- but it looks beautiful none the less!

i absolutely love this ring and am hoping to bring it to my jeweler to have it replicated..... i personally like the rings on separate fingers. unless you have super long fingers, it's just too much to wear them both on the same hand.

i have the same prob... i'd just get one that looks good with ur ering... there will be days you wear both and days u wont... i'm not a fan of the curved wedding band to fit the ering... i flush or not the rings will move...

I had a similar problem! I have a solitare with a low setting and nothing looked right with it. It also was hard to judge because the rings I was trying on weren't the right size for my finger either.
I opted for a channel set band. they don't sit perfectly flush but, they are close enough and look great together.

Mine sit flush, but they weren't made to go together. Mine e-ring is a simple solitaire and my w-ring is half-eternity with channel set diamonds, so the edges on both are smooth.

I'm having the same problem. I think we decided to go get anotehr setting for the e-diamond, since it's only a solitaire anyways.
We went to the diamond district in Manhattan, FM me if you want the guy's contact info. he can make you anything.

DH custome made my engagement ring. It then became SO popular, that similar designs are just sold without designing it. [Forgot where he designed it ,I think Mondera-He then brought it in to jewelery places to see who could & would design it. My e-ring got very popular, and then in time, the band was pretty easy to find, but still needed to be custome made, b/c I wanted princess bagette on the band instead of the round thats so common.
The band shown is NOT my exact band. the only difference is that instead of round bagettes, its priness cut.
DH is custome making me the same exact band, for our 1 yr anniversary, so I can have 2, so I can wear boith bands and and my e-ring on the same finger, and i may soder them together .. .
thats my ring!!! FH had it designed for me too!! i'm probably going to get the same wedding band as urs too . ETA: except my center stone is round.

My wedding band is being handed down to me from my great grandmother (who gave it to my mom) and it doesn't sit flush with my e-ring. I don't think it is an issue at all and I am going to wear them on the same hand. It all depends on how you feel about it, I guess...

I have a solitare e-ring and when I was trying on wedding bands I didn't like the fact that they didn't sit close together, then I tried on one with a slight curve and I loved the way they looked together, so thats what I ended up getting.
