Question and a small vent about FH's family

Does anyone know of any furnished apartments/houses/condos on Long Island, Manhattan or lower Westchester that my FH's family can rent instead of staying in a hotel the week of our wedding?

They are from Ireland and I know that that is a common thing over there - not sure if it's as common in the cities in Ireland but it is in the country. I found two places in Manhattan but they are $1400 for 1 bedroom. That would be more than reserving a hotel for 1 week at $100/night. But if anyone knows of any places that would be cheaper than a hotel please let me know. Thanks.

So get this-I asked FH's cousin via e-mail (I never met her, she's living in Ireland) if she could purchase irish stamps for me and mail them to me so I could put them on the Reply cards. She told me not to bother and that I can spend the money for something else. Which that was nice of her to say but the point is we need to know who's coming and a stamp facilitates them sending it back. IF they have to get their own stamp they may forget and we'll never hear back and have to call them...etc.
And that costs money. What I am miffed about the most is that I didn't ask her opinion (and she said she talked to her sister about it first) I just asked if she could send me stamps and I'd repay her. ***.
I never commented at irish weddings where you have to pay for every drink, did I?

So much for me trying to involve his family in the wedding planning. I tried!

The only place I can think of is the Extended Stay hotel in College Point, right off the Whitestone Expressway. I have no idea what they charge.

Sorry about the stamp issue, maybe you can just get them yourself since the cousin isn't able to help you. Maybe you can order them online, like the US stamps
