If you are getting married at the RH, can you just put at the bottom of the invite, 'reception immediately following' or do you still need to buy the reception card?

i'd still include the reception card, because people who dont go to your ceremony prob want the specifics of what time CH starts, etc.

I'm not sure why would they not go to the ceremony? It's not as if theres a layover between church and reception, they're in the same place...

Reception cards are not necessary if the ceremony and the reception are being held at the same place there is room at the bottom of your invitation to put the pertinent information.

I got married at the RH and just put Adult Reception immediately following.

IMO you dont need reception cards if you are getting married at the hall.

I didn't use a reception card. I think people generally assume that the reception will be after the (presumably short) ceremony.

My ceremony & reception are held at the same place but I still put a reception card in my invites.

The woman who is doing our invitations said we don't need a reception card. At the bottom of the invitation we are doing 'Reception to immediately follow ceremony' so people know there is no time in between.

I am not having either a reception card or reception immediatly following

I don't beleive it is needed unless you have a lot of out-of-towners that don't know New York weddings.

If you're invited to a wedding at a catering facility, you know the party is immediatly following and that it will be a short ceremony. When invited to a catering hall, you are being invited to a party with a cermony preceeding it.
