question, did your fh know about your shower?

fh is NOT happy.... he was just told that they are not telling him about the shower until the last minute, then they expect him to bring me to the shower......

he's upset he's not being consulted because otherwise we might make plans on a particular weekend, and also hes not happy becuase its going to be obvious....we only go to 3 specific restaurants and they would probably pick a place that we never go to and it will be obvious when he asks me to go to the place...

UGHHHHHH.......

i dont think they know the three restaurants we go to even.... i mean ive tried to tell his mother these concerns so that maybe she will relay the information so they could make it more of a surprise.... but my family tends to pick what they want..... thats what happened for my graduation party... i asked for one of the places i like(olive garden) and they ended up at a place we'd never go to on our own....
it was nice and all, just not us...

fh is very concered they will try and make it on a weekend when we actually do have plans.....

My fh doesnt want to know b/c he says he knows I will torture him day and night till he spills about when it is. hahaha Poor guy cant win

As much as possible, I think you should try to be adamant on them letting FH in on whatever plans. I agree with everything you have said, I am having the same problem now and FH is very frustrated. Let them know all of your concerns and hope they cooperate!!! Right now they may be difficult because they figure they have 'some time.' Good luck and don't be afraid to let them know these concerns, they are very important!!!
