Question for 09 brides

I was wondering if you guys all met? I just see different pics from get togethers and was just wondering about it.

We had an '09 Bridal Shower in October last year where a lot of us met and had a great time winning prizes, eating, and drinking champagne punch lol. We also have had a few gtg's where some of us have met.

I never met anyone in person but would love to! I just got engaged in January so I wasn't an 09 bride back then (and didn't join the board until much more recently).

I'm still curious if there's anyone in Brooklyn who'd want to do a GTG around here... but I suppose that's for a different thread.

YAY for June GTG!!!

I started chatting right before the shower so it was to late to go. And they had a bachelorette party but I forgot to enter my 80s pic to win. And a lot of people met at TWOTY if you were a fast enough typer to get tickets. But we try to plan GTGs every now and then. I haven't gotten to one yet, but I started us in organizing a Suffolk County one for Saturday June 13 at the Cheesecake Factory at Smithhaven Mall.

There will be more info up as we get closer if you want to join us.

I met a few girls at a gtg in Queens last week but other than that I have not gone to any of the GTGs.. Hopefully I will get to go to the next one though!

Sandra, I am from Brooklyn and I would love to do a GTG. Maybe we can organize something.

Sounds good to me! Maybe we could try to do a Brooklyn GTG... guess we should start another thread.

Looks like I won't be able to make the Suffolk GTG on the 13th as it is...
