I am sure if you do a search you will find a good amount of brides that are making their own programs and menus as well as a whole hist of other DIY projects.

i'm semi-DIY for the programs. i bought kits from bellaterra.net and then i set up the pages in word then transferred to MS publisher. to awhile since i wrote out the entire liturgy. the labels are premade and the kits have the labels, ribbon, paper and gluedots--although i have to go get more paper for the inner pages and more glue dots.

We had our invitation company print up the covers for our programs, and we are printing the inside pages ourselves.

The pic of our ceremony program has false names on them. (I haven't photographed our programs yet - the image is from the invitation company website).

I made our menu cards by taking leftover 'wraps' that were used to wrap our invitations and using them as the middle layer for the menu. I printed out the menu at Kinkos in blue ink, cut the paper to size, and stuck it on the middle and dark blue layers with rubber cement.

A woman at work just told me she is doing my programs and menus as my shower gift!!! She hand makes all the invitations for our events at school and they are beautiful. All I have to do is pick out the paper. I am so excited!

That is so great!! Talk about a whole bunch of stuff off your plate, and a thoughtful gift.

I plan o maiking - Microsoft Word super-simple style. Printing on nice paper.
