question for all the late '07 brides

anyone ever crash the '08 board and read posts from girls who aren't getting married for over a year who have EVERYTHING done? I'm so impressed but sometimes I feel so far behind!

I am in awe of you overachievers!!

sorry I'm crashing. However I am an early 08 wedding and I see these girls who already booked makeup and hair who are getting married in October of 08 and I feel so far behind. I feel your pain.

I just realized today, it is only 7 months to my wedding and I still have TONS to do....

and they are almost done??

I called a few places for BM dresses, and they told me they were all booked up until mid may..she was joking 'we are all booked by 2009 brides'

YES!!!! I get so frustrated when i think about all the stuff i have left to do. And to make things worse... my MOH is going to be overseas for the next 5 weeks. She is gone when i need her the most!!

I am not bothering b/c I will just get more frustrated. We only got engaged on New Years Eve, so I already feel behind.

WOW Ive been planning for 2 years now...and still only booked my vendors a few months ago. Go 08 brides

yupppp i feel the same way too!!! even some of the '09ers have their stuff done! i am @ the 6 month mark and still have A LOT to do!

One of my BM got engage 3 weeks ago and she already booked her wedding site on Saturday. She is now working on wedding band (music) and flowers. It is kind of crazy to know that '08 brides has so much things done than I am.I got engage in May-06 and didn't start planning til Feb-07.

Yep..I do alll the time. I am amazed at how quick they are with things..very impressing.

I don't envy them - because when you book so early I think you might often wind up changing your mind later on. Why would you book someone so far in advance?!?! And planning is fun for me - I am not into just 'checking things off the list.' I am only planning a big wedding once and want to do it right, and for me right is taking my time until I find the right vendor, not one that is just good enough.

Totally feel that way. I have so much to do.

However i don't feel that i have to rush, i know i'll get it all done in time. Its just a little unnerving sometimes.
