If you made your pocketfold invites, was the print on the invite NOT raised? Someone made mine for me and I love them but b/c she DIY the words aren't raised. Do you think that makes it look less elegant or classy? Thanks for your opinions.

i was wondering the same thing ... so i was thinking about maybe sending them out for the printing part ... but then i might just say screw it do i really need it ... its just going to most likely thown out anyway ...

my font is not raised because I had someone print them for me.. you have an option if the ink is wet when it comes out if printer(usually only happens on inkjets) then you can put the embossing powder on the letters and shake it off, and then you have the raised letters I said forget it its a lot of work and the letters really dry very quickly, and its in a pocketfold, so I'm not paying for it.. but I did see in a wedding catalog they had cheap invites that were 6x6 would have fit perfectly into my pocketfold and it came printed with the raised letters, If the printer hadn't come through I would have gone this route and glued it in, if you want the info on that option fm i have it at home

I printed everything on my printer at home so it is not raised and I still love the way they look. I didn't feel the raised lettering was very important to me for the extra cost to would have been so send them out for printing. Good Luck!

wow, those are really neat and so fun! you deffffinitely dont need any raised print on these.

I don't think the raised printing makes a difference this day and age.....especially since your invites are so unique I doubt people will be looking for raise lettering onthe invite...I'd rather put the money to the day of and not jsut a piece of paper that jsut about everyone is going to throw out after my big day!

An 07 bride makes them. but I know you can buy them off of websites. Just google pocketfolds
