If you were going to your FH's fathers second wedding, and it was a casual outside wedding, your FH is wearing a tux, because he is the best man.. do you have to wear a dress? or could you wear something more casual, like pants and a nice shirt/shawl?? THANKS its for a friend and she doesn't know.. I said give me a couple of minutes, I'll ask my girls on LIW.. thanks

Personally I would wear a simple black dress, it's so easy to dress up or down.

You dont want to look too dressed up around the other guests but you want to look nice standing next to FH
