Question for all you Married ladies!

No, we don't, but it's nice that you do. To each his own. You know the saying, misery loves company. I'm sure she wouldn't think it was stupid if her and her husband acknowledged it. Some people just always have to have something to say.

nobody has a right to tell you what's stupid and whats not when it comes to your anniversary. I think it's sweet to celebrate the day of your first date. For me - there's no way I'm forgetting our old anniversary, but I wouldn't celebrate it as much as I will the WEDDING Anniversary. I think for us, we'll 'celebrate' our first date by just simply acknowledging it with maybe a nice dinner or something. But I wouldn't do gifts and make a big deal out of it. The Wedding one should be the big deal I feel like it's overkill when people go all out celebrating way too many anniversaries in such a short time frame. It kind of makes each one that much less special. But that's just me.

We'll probably go out for dinner on the anniversary of when we started dating this time around (long story, we've known each other for 12 years, dated throughout HS, then didn't date again until I was like 24).

Anyway, my parents went out to dinner on the anniversary of when they met...so I think it's awfully sweet.
