Question for ANY Bride or Bride-to-be that is having some type of an after Wedding Party

FH and I are wondering about having an after party since our wedding ends at 8:30. How should we go about it and where are good places/hotels to do so?

Anyone that can share some advice, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!!!

Depending on where you are having your wedding, you may be able to do it there. Our RH offers and after hours party and I know that Flowerfields does too.

I'm having an after party but I'm not sure where yet. I'm looking into hotels with bars that are near my RH. Where are you getting married?

we rented a conference room in a hotel and had it set up with tables and food and booze - it was a huge hit and about half of our 200 guests came. We didn't want to have a cash bar, and it was cheaper for us to actually go to a hotel that didn't have a bar and would allow us to bring in our own food and alcohol

Same here. I am getting married at flowerfield too, but don't want the party to end at 5pm! Unfortunately, my hotel doesn't have a bar or restaurant.

What about the hotel right next to Chateau??? They have an awsm bar in there!!

we hung out at the bar at the hotel we all stayed at for my friends wedding. it was nice i think we r doing the same thing!! we stayed at the new marriot in farmingdale

My daughter had it at the hotel where all the out of towners stayed so they could join without having to find transportation. You could also do it at a local bar near the hotel as well.

My daughter had it at the hotel where all the out of towners stayed so they could join without having to find transportation. You could also do it at a local bar near the hotel as well.

We did the exact same thing. Ours ended at 5:30 and pretty much everyone who was staying the night in the area (most) were in the hotel bar hanging out with us (all ages).
Best part was there was a little courtyard outside with tables, so they brought coolers too which saved $ :)

We stayed at the Holiday Inn in Ronkonkama, not the nicest place, but less $ than others in the area.

We are also renting out a conference room at the hotel where we blocked rooms for our guests. We'll bring in coolers of beer and booze and some light snacks. My family always does that in a room at the hotel after weddings.
