I just called Oheka yesterday to nail down some final details with Brett, our maitre'd, and was told that he'd left the company. Does anyone know any details?!? It's kind of freaking me out a little that we have a brand new person, who I've never met with, handling our wedding (which is only weeks away).

I am also getting married @ Oheka but I dealt w/ Kelly when I signed the contract and all. When did you find out who your m'datrie was??? Also, has anyone seen the new room; how is it??? My wedding is in March; I've been working on my vendors but haven't had much involvement w/ Oheka; is that normal for the timing??? Any advise would be greatly appreciated...

I am getting married at Oheka in September of 2004. I would not worry at all about the new person. I am sure that he has held this position before even if its not at Oheka.
I saw the new room. I actually posted pics of it in July.

Don't worry, you don't meet with your maitre'd until about a month or two before the wedding, when you need to go over details of the menu/ceremony/reception.
I'm going to meet the new maitre'd tomorrow. Her name is Kelly. I'm also going to take a look at the new room at that time. I'll post more about both after the meeting.
The only thing is, I only found out about the change in maitre'd because I was calling Brett about some changes I wanted to make. I really wish Oheka had let me know -- there is stuff that Brett and I have been discussing that is not on their little 'worksheet' for the wedding, that I doubt anyone else is aware of.
