i ordered my dress the 1st week of september at BR in massapequa... anyone know when i should expect that it will come in? tia!!

not worried just want to know when to plan on getting to LI for fittings!! how far in advance did you/will you do your 1st fitting? do you know how many fittings are typical? ty :)

usually you do your first fitting anywhere from 6 weeks to 2 months out (depending other place and time of year you are getting married) My salon told me I would have more leeway with fittings being that our wedding is in the off season. I did my first fitting on the earlier side (end of november) but only because I knew my schedule was crazy in December and January. I am going for my second fitting this weekend, than probably my 3rd in early February. Hoping I won't need a 4th!!! I think usually it's three, maybe 4 - But I have heard of girls going for 5 or 6!

I already visited my dress twice. I had gone in July to show my cousins my sample and ffound out my actual dress was in. They let me try it on there to make sure I was satisfied (but wasn't allowed to leave the dressing room) & then went back in August to show his mom and sister. They are so great there!!!

so they don't call to tell you when it's in? why wouldn't they let you leave the dressing room? they have a lot of rules there!!! lol

She said that it had just come in so I'm not sure of they would have called. They did call when my jewelry came in to tell Me they were storing it, so I guess they would have. They didn't want me to walk around and risk getting it dirty. I was so overjoyed I didn't care at the time.
