question for brides with step-parents

is your step-father wearing a tux to the wedding? my mother and i are having a disagreement over this. i don't think he should be wearing a tux, i think that only my dad and the groomsmen (and of course FH) should.

yes.
my step father wore a tux and my step mother wore a gown.

they actually walked down the aisle together as both my Mom & Dad walked me down the aisle.. it was very sweet..

It went grandparents, groom's parents, step parents, bridal party

All the 'fathers' wore the same thing- traditional tux with black vest, bow tie & white flower

My FMIL wants her BF to wear a tux. He doesn't own any nice suits and she feels that if she is in a gown, he should wear a tux.

FFIL has passed away and that's why she has a BF. Not sure if divorsed parents BF's should do this.

I guess whatever you want.

We had the opposite issue. My dad (I don't know why) didn't want to wear a tux and only was convinced when I told him that FH's dad was.

Te groom, groomsmen, FOB, FOG are wearing tuxes. My FI step-dad wants to BUT is NOT! Our resoning is b/c the MOG & step dad would love nothing more that for the FOG to be cut out of th picture & FI will not have it so he wants people to understand clearly who his dad is.

Mine and my husband's did. We also recognized his stepmother by giving her flowers and my husband danced with his mom and stepmom.

It depends on your relationship with him though. It also depends on if its worth upsetting your mom over.

my mom and stepdad are walking down the aisle together and then my mom is coming back to walk me down with my dad. same thing for fh's dad and stepmom - they are walking down together and then his dad is coming back to walk him down with his mom - therefore, everyone is formal

both my dad and step-dad are attending as well as step-mother both of my parents were married, divorced, and remarried...so i have like 4 wonderful parents...the men will both be wearing tuxes, but my dad is the one walking me down the aisle and my mom is marrying us (officiant)
