Question for DIY Girls

Question for DIY Girls

Hi ladies -

I really want to work on completing some of my DIY projects in the next week and a half that I'm off work, but I want ot make sure the things will 'hold up' until the wedding.

I'm thinking of super glueing the rhinestones on my monogram, and also putting together the card box which will be made using fabric.

Is it realistic to do this now and have them still be in tact by April???

TIA!

we crazy glued the rhinestones on Kedra's monogram cake topper a few months ago and as far as i know, they're still on there! her wedding isn't until september either...so i think you should be fine!

same thing for the card box - i would think that should definitely be fine until april, if not longer

I think youll be fine! I used gem tac on my rhinestones for my table numbers and I'm not worried about them going anywhere. Just store your things well and dont handle them much and it should be a problem. And you can always look them over a week or two before the wedding and do any touchups that you might need. I think you should go for it! And post pics!

they should hold. my sister made her own pocketfold invites and we did them months before her wedding (in 2009) and i still have my invite and the rhinestones are still there!
