I am new to this whole e-bay thing. I have bought about four items in the past few months. I had 3 good experiences and one bad. I was checking out some stuff tonight and was interested in bidding on an item posted by a member who has 'private feedback'. The overall rating is good (98.6%), but there were 10 negative reviews in the last 30 days (613 positives in the same time frame). Would you bid on an item posted by this person? It's obvious the good outweighs the bad, but why keep feedback private? Am I being ridiculous for even asking this question?

I wouldnt go near him. I dont bid on anyone that has negative feedback in the past month....
