I see on here that girls talk about a table to show respect to those family memebers that have passed away and could not be there.
What goes on that table, where would it be, etc. ?

Re: Question for family that has passed away.
I am putting their pictures on the table and a candle with the pictures. I want to find one with a saying on it. I want to put the table in the reception in the room we will be in. Not sure where though in the room.

FH mom passed away not that long ago so we were thinking of putting a memorial candle on our table?? I dont know where to get it/how to make it.
Any other ideas?
Are you having something for everyones thats passed? Maybe put a small table next to the place card table?

I'm not doing a table.... at my RH, there is a mantle behind the sweetheart table, and on that I will put pictures and candles.

Re: Question for family that has passed away.
I have three pictures I am putting on the table: My grandma, FH's grandma and FH's Aunt. All three pics are of the women in their wedding dress. I am putting a plain white candle in a simple glass holder in front of each pic. I'll probably put some rose petals on the table but that's it. I think the pictures and the candles say enough.

Love that gina!
I am def putting a picture of my grandma and FHs grandma who passed about a yr ago and passed away a couple months from each other. I know someone is going to say something about not having a pic of my grandfather - but he passed away YEARS ago and i wasnt very close to him, our grandmothers were very close to us.
I love the idea of a saying.. i think i will look for a poem to put in a frame next to their pictures. I think i will put them with the table cards

You can frame a picture and either buy or make a memory candle...you can keep that at your dais, the cake table or the card/guest signing table.

That sounds like it will be so nice, it will definitely be really appreciated by the rest of the family.

Well my FH had a cousin, his grandparents on both sides pass.
I have my grandparents on my fathers side and my grandmother from my mothers side pass.
So I would have all there pictures. Prob with me and/or my FH in them with the person. I prob will have to do its own table because it wont fit on our table.
I would prob put the pics. candles and flowers, mabey a nice saying. I just never have seen a table done this way..
The place cards will be outside of the room we are having the party in so I wanted it to maybe be in the room but not sure.

What if you make one frame, and put all of the pics in the same frame???? Kind of like a (what is the word, I can't think of it.... montage?)
Then, it won't take up that much room?
