Question for girls who are already married or getting married very shortly

When did you start getting calls from your vendors to set up your final meetings? Like when did the rh call to pick the menu and cake and the dj to go over all the song choices and every other vendor that you need to speak to?

Tomorrow is my 4 month mark and I am getting very antsy and excited. I want to start doing things.

im 40 days away and i havent heard that much - besides my flowers, RH & church
everything else im making the phone calls this week.

we started doing things about a week and a half ago.

we met with our RH to go over the menu this weekend, but besides that we haven't met with any vendors. i will start calling them in the next couple of weeks.....

Our RH called us about 2 1/2 months before the wedding to set up an appt to decide on our menu, and at that meeting we set up the final RH meeting.

our photographer called us when payments were due, and at one of those meetings we discussed the arrangements for the day of. most of our other vendors left it up to us to call them to set up final meetings. we also know we jumped the gun on contacting a couple of them to set up final meetings.

I'm getting married in 20 days. I finalized flowers on Monday, Officiant on Tuesday, DJ on Thursday and went to the hall to do menus etc. on Saturday.
