We had both sets of parents stand with us, even though only mine were Jewish. His parents liked the idea of 'being a part of' the ceremony in that way. They also walked down the aisle with him, and loved that too!

Did anyone have the issue of one set wanting to stand and one wanting to sit?

My husband is Jewish and both set of parents stood. We thought it was nice to have our parents with us. My parents originally objected but we compromised with something else (there were a LOT of compromises).
