Question for ladies that live with FH

FH & I drive in together, we have a nice system. One week (the entire week) one person gets up first and makes lunch, breakfast is normally 7-11 coffee. The secret is, on my weeks, I'll make lunch for us before I go to bed, and he is already asleep. When the alarm goes off he tells me to get up and make lunch, I just hit him and tell him I already did so I get an extra 15. After over a year and a half of this you'd think he'd pick up on it but no...he hasn't!!!!!!!!! In the mean time he has to wake up 20 mins early on his weeks because he insists on a 'BIG' lunch!!! I never have to worry about eating bad...he can handle him self with lunches...dinner, well now that's another story!!!

that is a nice system!

Neither of us make lunch....or breakfast in the morning. Or even coffee now that I think about it. I grab a banana and walk out the door and get on the train, we both get coffee from the coffee cart (we live/work in the city) and he sometimes gets a roll too. Then we inevitably end up spending waaaay too much on lunch.

i don't think you're nuts, i'd do it to save money if i thought he'd eat it...but his co-workers would all convince him to go out to lunch and my efforts would go to waste. so really there's no point for me.

but i think it's nice that you do it. you're a good wifey!!

Everyday I wake up earlier than i need to to pack my FH breakfast and lunch (he takes both to work). I know that if i don't do it he'll go out and spend money eating out and probably getting really bad food.

And anyway - He loves it - I guess what guy wouldnt! (my FH is a carpenter so its not like he's gotta go out with the guys or office people to eat lunch) but still the guys always look at him like - boy you've got it made!! lol
especially when i take the grapes off the thingies and put it in a ziplock. I think im ready to be a soccer mom!

Ok ladies im just so bored right now & FH passed out!

I am totally with the gurl that said somethn to the effect of 'yea righttttt ' hahaha ... I know alot of couples that started off packi lunches and doin all those nice sweet things, but yeah... that fades

That's so sweet! I think if I did it now Joe would think I did something wrong! Good for you and don't let anybody try to stop you. It's very sweet and i'm sure he loves it!

i make his lunch the night before and i always write a note on the brown bag in magic marker..lol.. he loves it.

i also go to bed at midnight and get up at 2am to give him his dinner when he gets home then. we talk and watch on demand, etc...
