We didnt use them
My FSIL did and regretted it. She had 11 tables only got back 7 cameras and really about 20 of the pics were salvagable.

I think its hit or miss really. If I would have done them I would have kind of assigned the camera to someone.

We used them. We had 32 ppl at the wedding and passed out 4 camera's. Everyone just passed them arounf during the ceremony, dinner, and the 'after' party. Some of our best pics are from them and I am soooooooooo happy we spent the $20 for them. So many pics are around you and your dh but these are guests just having fun. No posing, no 'set-up' just dancing and having fun. We have a really cute pic of my brother and sister that we would have never had. They are a great buy. We got them all back and my mom had them developed on our honeymoon so we had them when we got home! We're still waiting on the other my brother the 'photographer' took!!!

No--I had a small wedding, so I asked all the guests to bring their digital cameras and then send me the pictures. Pictures are just beginning to arrive and some of them are great! They didn't cost me anything, and are of better quality than the usual table camera. I vowed never to get them after my cousin's wedding a few years ago when I watched the kids and the drunks take over the cameras. I later heard she didn't get almost any good photos, maybe five, if that, out of twenty-five or so cameras.

I did, pictures came out ok---some cute ones but in the end I got better pictures sent to me from people's digital cameras.

We just put CD's on the tables instead and our guests are mailing them back with pictures on them they downloaded from their camera's.

Re: question for married ladies...

we went the cheaper route and i emailed everyone asking them (ahead of time) to email me at my gmail (large capacity) account with any pictures they took - we got a TON of great ones!

I used them. So far have developed like 4 of them. It was totally not worth it and if i could do it again i would not have them. Not all of them were completely used, the flashes didn't work well and the pictures are crappy. I even went with real Kodak cameras to make sure i was working with good film/flash, but it didn't really matter.

Here's a tip though- CVS will development and just put them on a CD for you, no prints, so you can save some money there and not add clutter by having prints of pictures you might not want.
