Question for Mommies

When do babies start to shed tears? Joseph is 12 weeks old and still doesn't shed any? He cries but no tears come out. Is this normal or should I be worried?

I think a couple months old, I wouldn't worry, just wait till they do, they soak everything,

I am not sure but I know it takes a while. Put this on your list of questions for the doctor at your next visit.

I asked the dr. this at Ryan's 10 week visit - all is normal. It takes a while. His lashes are starting to get damp, but no real flowing tears down the cheek thing yet! It's normal, but check with your ped just to be sure...
