I think that would be a nice thing to do, keeps them occupied.

i think that is a great diea - i actually found this cute website that has templates for coloring books..... check it out..
I think that is a great idea...but i really feel like kids are fearless and will get out on the dace floor when you are all eating and their parents can 'dance' with them to make them feel apart of the wedding......But i agree having something for them is a great idea...even if you have an interactive leap frog for them to play?

I'm in the same boat. I decided to have give them activities to keep busy also. I came across a really cool site with has a 'wedding Day activity ' kit for the kids. I'm getting a few of those. They also had a 'Wedding Day Coloring book 'with crayons! Perfect. I picked up a couple of those. Check out the cute FG Gift w/ a little doll that she can dress up! Here's the site. Let me know what you think! www.westportstyle.com
When you go into the site, click on the gifts tab, then scroll down & click on wedding party gifts.
Happy shopping!

My sister gave the kids @ her wedding disposable cameras to play with and take all the pictures that they wanted. That may be a good idea for the six year olds. Just a suggestion.

i planned on doing something like that because we're having young kids at the wedding...gotta keep them busy so they don't try to knock the cake over!

good idea about the cameras for the kids, I was thinking about that for the kids at my wedding, i'd love to see what they take pictures of!
Also, sometimes kids with the coloringbooks, they'll go sit in a corner, and just chill with one another if a bunch of them are coloring...it will give the parents a rest from having to watch them.

I think that is a great idea. I am not having any kids, but I may be having one of my ex students who has autism. He is a teenager, but enjoys younger kid things, so I was thinking about getting him a bunch of things to keep him busy.
