I got married this past November.
I did my hair and makeup trials in Septmeber (but I wasn't trying places out, I knew I was using a certain salon, I just had to figure out the hairstyle).
I ordered my invites early and sent them out 3 months before my RSVP date (which was a month before my wedding date). I sent them early because my wedding was the weekend before Thanksgiving and I didn't send out STDs.
