Question for past brides who used Patken...

Can you please let me know how many proofs you received after your wedding? I am a little concerned with the amount of proofs they give. On my contract, it says they will give a minimum of 250 pics. I know with other companies you can get a minimum of 500 proofs.

Also, FH's sister used Patken and gave me her proof album to look through. She got married in 2004 and I noticed she only received 204 proofs and on her contract it said the minimum amount she would get was 275+.

I am a little concerned now. I love their work but I keep thinking for the amount of money we spend, shouldn't we be getting more proofs?

I plan on calling Patken and discussing this with them as after seeing FH's sisters contract and the amount of proofs she actually received scares me.

I don't know if the amount depends on the photographer we will be using but I have requested Vinny. Vinny also did FH's sisters wedding.

Any info is helpful.

I used Patken and had 1 photographer and got a total of 492 proofs. That was what they had in my contract though (about 500 proofs). I don't know if the amount of pictures depends on your package.

I received 405. I was contracted for 375

We got I think 497. Something like that. It was more than enough. Loved almost all of them.

I am going to call Patken and tell them my concerns.

I don't understand why they wrote different minimums for everyone.

I spoke with Patken and they told me I should bring my contract in this way they can make the minimum amount to approx. 300+.

I must say they have great customer service every time I have had to ask a question.

I personally deal with only Nadira.....she ALWAYS helps me. They rock!!!!

my brother used Patken (the owner Doug), infact his pictures are in their display albums at the store in Mineola. He had maybe 400 or so pictures but he didnt need anymore, every picture was album worthy in my opinion. I used Duet and have like over 3000 pictures total (800 printed) and I;m having trouble picking 60 for the album...sometimes less is more!
