Question for Queens (Astoria) girls!!

FH and I are getting married in Queens, and are doing a hotel block at a hotel in Astoria. We're getting married on a Saturday during the day,and would like to plan an after party at a local bar. The hotel offers a free shuttle to the Astoria Boulevard subway stop. I've already e-mailed the Beer Garden, and would like to contact some other bars.

Any girls have any suggestions for bars in short walking distance from the Astoria Boulevard subway stop?

I live in Astoria walking distance from Astoria Blvd may be hard to find a place but by Ditmars or Broadway there are tons of places. We are actually looking for a place also for an after party since our reception is during the day too.

If you don't mind me asking with what hotel did you book your hotel block? We live in Astoria & have some OOT family coming who if they don't stay with family would rather stay in Astoria then near our RH in Mineola.

Michelle, try Rapture on 35 street and like 25 ave? They are AMAZING mojitos and they are huge!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, Broadway has many bars. ( i know you said Astoria Blvd)

Oh yea there a bar next to Martha Bakery (Cant think of the name) on Ditmars
