question for recently married girls...

Did most people bring your gift to the wedding or did they send it ahead of time?

ETA: by gifts i mean cards w/ checks too

Most brought the gift the day of, only 1 sent it ahead of time. But usually they bring it to the wedding.

Most brought day of. I had 2 coworkers bring to me during my last day of work, but only accepted one of them then, and the other re-brought it day of. Another coworker ordered a boatload of registry items after the wedding and I just received them today with still more to follow under separate shipment. All cards were brought day of, as well as more physical gifts.

Most brought the card the day of, one mailed it to us because they forgot it at home and then a few others said they would mail it, but never did. The only cards we got before the wedding were from people who couldn't come, but still wanted to send us a little something.

most bought cards to the wedding. The few people who gave actual gifts - the gifts were sent to my mom's house.

No one sent anything ahead of time...except for a few people who responded no, and sent gifts (not checks). Everyone else brought checks to the wedding. And few people came to the wedding and gave nothing...

Everyone brought their gifts/cards the day of the wedding, except for people who couldn’t attend. I got two cards from people about 3 months after the wedding.

Hmm I got gifts from people not attending prior to the wedding. A few people brought gifts to the wedding but not many. Most did bring cards.

The people that replied No gave us a check before our actual wedding. Everyone who attended gave their gifts (money) at the reception.

Most people brought a card with them. We got only 2 or 3 wrapped gifts, which people also brought with them.

I got all my gifts the day of...unless someone knew they couldnt make it, they sent early.

I got cards with checks and wrapped gifts from 185 of the 200 that attended. A few others sent gifts ahead of time, I got some gifts after the wedding and I got no card or gift from a few people.

We had 2 people send gifts before the wedding & that was b/c one was a 16 bottle wine cooler/chiller & the other an outdoor granite firepit...things that would be a little tough to carry into a wedding...lol

We had a few small gifts that were brought, but the rest did bring cards w/checks/cash...

b/c I had lost my job 2 months before we married - we were very thankful that about 92-95% of the gifts were $$.

i got most of them the day of, a few sent a gift after...
a few didnt send a gift at all!
my bridal party gave me their cards in the morning while we were getting ready at my moms house so they didnt have to carry it with them all day

Most brought it to the wedding a bunch of DH's friends bought stuff from our registry and sent to us the week before the wedding. Some people sent their cards after the wedding.
