question for September and October brides

Where are you going on your honeymoon, since most of the Caribbean is in hurricane season?

Honestly, we wanted privacy so we rented a cabin in TN. It has hot tubs, jacuzzi tub, pool table etc. In the middle of nowhere

We are think of going to Niagara Falls for a quick honeymoon and then go to Ireland for our first anniversary.

I'm trying to figure out the same thing right now. I really want to go to Hawaii, FH wants to go to the Bahamas. Then we were thinking of a Sandals resort. I was also looking at cruises of Hawaii and Tahiti. This is the only part of planning so far that is driving me absolutely nuts.

I wouldn't say it's driving me nuts, but I know where you're coming from! Who knew this would be such a tough decision to make!

I can definitely say that this has got my mind scrambling.....there's so many options for HM's!!!

At first we were looking at Aruba- The Occidental- I was quoted around $4000 for both of us- 8 nights, all inclusive w/ airfare. Then FH said he'd do Hawaii (he's not a flyer, so I assumed it was out!), so now I jumped on researching that......so far for 8 nights (2 in Oahu, 6 in Maui), it looks like anywhere from $4100- $4500- just for hotel, car & airfare......but we have to remember we'll be paying for food/drinks everyday and excursions....which will definitely get costly. But if we stay at the Hyatt at least we get free breakfast!! HTH!!

We are cruising the So caribbean second week of Oct then off to Aruba for another 5 days. What happens happens!

hey date twin...we're taking the royal caribbean adventure of the seas october 7th to the southern caribbean. i hear that area is more out of the hurricane belt. we bought insurance just in case.

What a nice romantic idea! What is the name of the cabin accommodations if you don't mind?

I really want to have a hot beachy tropical honeymoon like Tahiti but I'm not sure yet.
