We are think of going to Niagara Falls for a quick honeymoon and then go to Ireland for our first anniversary.

if you have time check out the Niagara on the Lake area -- it's a great place to visit also

Re: question for September and October brides
for the same reason/concern about the hurricane season we are taking a 12 day Princess cruise to Hawaii & Tahiti and spending 2 days pre-cruise on Waikkiki Beach. can't wait!! it was the best way to see 2 great destinations affordably

Honestly, we wanted privacy so we rented a cabin in TN. It has hot tubs, jacuzzi tub, pool table etc. In the middle of nowhere
ohh wow that sounds different ~ can you let me know where you are going? website?
Thank you!
We were thinking just going away for a couple of days out east... i am just afraid with us being in NY we won't be alone... (me and FH & Cell phone/workaholic)

Re: question for September and October brides
Actually I think we are going someplace in the Carribean (FH planned it and is surprising me) but I know he went crazy making sure we weren't hitting any hurricane stuff..Just talk to your travel agent. There are places you can go I'm sure, we're just slightly limited.

We haven't decided yet. My FH is so afraid to fly, so we may just do a couple of days in a B&B somewhere. There's not as many cruises going out of NY at the end of Oct.
The search is still on!!!

Most likely-Italy
We're planning to go to Italy too. But we might be rethinking it and do something cheaper since we're buying a house right now and we're gonna need $ for furniture.
It's breaking my heart to have to consider no honeymoon or a short one in the states rather than 13 days in Italy.
