Question for summer/spring bride using chocolate as favor

I am planning on using those candy tins as place card settings. My original plan was to do customized m and ms, but damn they are pricey. So I went with jordan almonds. I am going traditonal by only using 5, but the tin looks empty. So I was thinking of adding hersheys kisses (only 2 fit in the tin). Will they melt, and how can I prevent this from happening (if there is a way)??

we gave chocolates and when we brought them to the reception hall the week before i told them which box they were and that they needed to be kept cool. I'm sure your RH will have a safe place to store them.

Will your place card table be outdoors? If so, then they probably will melt.

If you're just looking for filler, then why not use m&m's? You don't have to do ALL of them personalized..you can do just a few personalized m&m's in each tin and the rest can be the regular ones in colors that match your wedding colors or just silver or white. Also, at the M&M store at Times Square you can buy m&m's in different colors (non-personalized), so you don't have to pay for S&H to order special colors.
