Question for the Gentlemen

What kind of tux are you wearing and what color?

What I mean, is I really want my FI to wear black pants, black jacket, white vest and white tie.

He doesn't want to wear that, he hates the white tie and white vest.

So what do you guys think?

I think you and my fiance should talk - that's exactly what he wants to wear and i want him in black.....with a gray vest and bow tie

He wants to do the gray vest, but the BM is doing a gray vest to match my MOH's top and the GMs are doing black vests to match the BMs dresses.

I thought he would wear the white vest to match me.

Good question... For me, I know what I want and she basically agrees... I want a black tux with kinda a gray vest with a small pattern on it, an ascot tie, and white shirt. And shoes too!.. Yes definitely shoes!... No bare feet. hehe

I know there are minor details about the tux like where the buttons are on the vest that my FW and I may not agree on.. Very minor stuff.

But she has to let me get the tux I love... just as she will get the gown she loves. (Would a man ever really have a say in the gown his wife gets? lol)

Seriously, I think you should let your FH wear what he wants and feels most comfortable in. Maybe you two can sit and talk about what you both agree on and take it from there.

And when you finally make your decision for your special day, I'm sure you'll both look great and have a very memorable day!

I tell my fiance all the time that not only do I ahev to pick out ym own outfit, but his too!
He admitted long ago, i knwo more about clothes than he does, but of course he has the final say & if he had an ideas, I'd listen, but he's not like that.

I thought I liked the white vest & tie, but now I am thinking either black for him & gray for the GM or vice versa.
