Question for the vegetarians. . (Spinoff from Marymoons'post)

My hall will prepare either pasta with vegetables or a vegeatable wrap for anyonw who requests it. If I know in advance how many vegetarians there will be, I can request a specific meal instead.

So, if you could have whatever you wanted, what would it be?

Under normal circumstances, I would say the wrap b/c it would better accomodate all the carb watchers. but, a wrap could be messy and people might feel piggish eating with their hands at a wedding, so maybe the pasta is a safer choice considering the occassion.

unless the wrap can easily be eaten with utensils, then I say go for the wrap cause it could be more interesting than pasta.

Grilled portobello mushrooms - either stuffed or sliced over pasta tossed with diced tomatoes, chopped onions and a warm balsamic vinegrette.

We have a few vegetarians coming who are truthfully vegan. I am emailing them to find out their dietary restrictions--no milk, no eggs, no wheat...

A grilled vegetable dish, especially with portobello mushrooms is something all vegetarians would probably eat.

I think you misunderstood. I think if I leave it as is, the guests can pick the wrap or the pasta. I don't have to limit it to 1.

But. . . instead of that, I can pick something entirely different if I know the exact # they will need.
