As far as telling DH the big news, How did you go about doing it? Did you guys wait for the results of the preggo test together, or did you do something special to tell him ? Also, What was his reaction?

I had always dreamed of doing something special and unique to tell him, but when it finally came down to it, I bought a hpt when I went out to buy bread, took one in the bathroom, thought it looked positive, and needed him to verify what I was looking at!
He was very excited.. although we both didn't truly believe it until 3 hpt and a doctor's appointment!

Well DH worked all night, I waited till he came home at 5am & fell asleep then took the test (first got a faint line, then went out & bought the digital) & while I was out I bought an I love my daddy bib & a 'we're expecting' card.
I put a picture of the 'pregnant' digital test in the card and put it all in a bag.
He was half awake at 8am & I said I have a surprise for you, he was half asleep & thought I got him breakfast, he was speechless when he opened the card.
He couldn't stop hugging me & actually got teary eyed.

Well, Im not preggo, but when DH and I decide to start trying, I will probably do a suprise type thing. Like maybe cook him a really nice candelite dinner, maybe? I dunno...ask me in about 10 years! Its way 2 soon for me to start worrying about this!

I happened to leave the house mad at him that morning so when I told 'we need to talk' he was kind of scared of what I might say. I took digital tests and they all 'died' by lunch time, so I bought another, ran to the bathroom and after it popped up again, I brought it out and shoved it in his face just as he looks at me and says 'what do you want to talk about?'
He was stunned and ecstatic and I just loved watching all these emotions run across his face.

before I tested ... deep down i 'knew' - I was only 3 days late... but i was an emotional mess over everything-- think PMS x 1000000....
we came home from a night out and I started to cry, so we went to go get a test-- ( he bought it proud as a peacock).. I came home POAS... and i was so nervous I forgot to take the cap off-- so we had to wait until it re-registered itself....
he sat playing PS2 while It was time to pee again... and after I closed my eyes and handed it to him til it read PREGNANT. He read it looked at me- said I love you so much - we're gonna have a baby!! hugged me and we both cried and smiled and he said this was by far the happiest moment of his life!!!

It was nothing like I had planned. We found out when we were visiting my parents in Rochester. I took the first 2 tests and didn't believe them, thinking my parents lighting was different and that's why I was seeing a second line. When I took the 3rd test the next day, I showed it to him. He thought a faint line meant it was possible, but not probable. He really thought it had to be the same darkness. Once I told him a line is a line we both just started laughing and hugging. Not very romantic.

I was so backwards with everything - I took the HPT at work, of all places, really to prove to my colleague that I was NOT pregnant - he was teasing me that I was.... then I got the BFP, took about 4 more tests - by that point everyone in my office knew - you guys knew because I was posting about it - I wound up calling DH in the middle of all the tests telling him, ' I'm taking a bunch of HPT tests - some are coming up positive - just wanted to let you know...'
Looking back, I wish I did things differently, but I was so shocked because I REALLY didn't think I was pregnant!!!!

Not prego yet, but I know DH rather well. I may tell him by doing something really romantic. Perhaps I will buy him a copy of QUICKEN DELUXE so he can easily manage the finances and prepare for the future of our child. I married the Czar of Spreadsheets.
