As far as telling DH the big news, How did you go about doing it? Did you guys wait for the results of the preggo test together, or did you do something special to tell him ? Also, What was his reaction?

I love reading these stories!! While Im not Preggers, I think I might do something special when the time comes. I was thinking about making him a dinner complete with baby carrots, baby back ribs, and some other 'baby' type things. Then, give him a onesie with the HPT.

Not prego yet, but I know DH rather well. I may tell him by doing something really romantic. Perhaps I will buy him a copy of QUICKEN DELUXE so he can easily manage the finances and prepare for the future of our child. I married the Czar of Spreadsheets.

I got up early on a Sunday morning. Took the test then came right back to bed. I softly asked to come see something with me in the bathroom. Held his hand while sleepy head followed me.
He saw the test on the sink and hugged me.

No matter how much we have, it will never seem like enough - even with Quicken. Michelle, if our DH's switched places, we would never notice the difference.

I was in Chicago visiting my friend when I found out. DH and I knew the day I was coming home from the trip was the first day I could take a test so we decided I didn't have to wait until I got home because we were both anxious to find out. I tested, got a positive, called DH and said 'Congratulations Daddy!'. It took him a minute to figure out what I had just said to him.
