Question for those of you who have visited Fox Hollow
Hi All!!
So my RH search has officially begun as of this past weekend. So far the one FH and I like most is Fox Hollow, based on the price and what we were getting for the money (we were looking in the 'off-season')
I was just wondering for those of you who have been there, what were the quotes given to you for different times of day and different months of the year as well?? Also what was included in your package (ex- free night at the fox hollow inn, what rooms were offered to you, etc..) I just want to know if its possible that i can negotiate lower if some of you have gotten some good deals!!
I also would like to know what your opinion was on the different rooms? I didn't get to see them because they were being used for parties... but the pics looked nice! We were being offered the Briar Fox room for the Sat PM reception and the big Garden Terrace room for a Sat afternoon reception.. (we are only guaranteeing 125 ppl so im not sure if the room will be TOO big) i still want to go back and check out the rooms as well as the other Scotto Bros. property before I make a decision but so far this one has been our top choice, and any additional advice i can get from you ladies is greatly appreciated!
Thanks!! :)

Fh and I went there and we both really liked it. We were looking for a Sat night in Jan. We only wanted to guarantee 125 people...with that amount guraanteed we would have the Briar Fox room. I didnt reall like the room, I felt thta it wasnt us at all! The Garden Terrace room I loved but you needed to guarantee 200 people and I believe the price went up slightly. Anyway...we got it for $73pp plus tax and grat...ice sculptures, chair covers, a night at the inn. I dont know about day prices for us because we didnt look into them, but you can def pay at least $10.00 less for a day affair!

thanks for your response, thats around the price i was quoted as well (but like, 2 bucks more) for the briar fox on a sat night in offseason... so good to know the quote was not so far off... he offered us briar fox for sat night as well but maybe i can use some negotiation skills to either lower the price or get the bigger room!! (if i do choose to book here, but like i said i want to check out the other scotto bros. places!)
Thanks again! :)

I tried getting the bigger room and guarantee 175 but it was a no go! I am in the Briar Fox room for 160 people at $77/pp, which all that extra stuff mentioned (chair covers, etc).
I went to about 10 different RH and it was definetly the best price and actually had the most amount of food offered.

Wow... you tried guaranteeing 175 people for the garden terrace and they still wouldn't let you have it?? Looks like i am in trouble when i try to negotiate!! (im at a 125 guarantee, would do 150 at the MOST).. i plan on checking out the rooms this weekend (in the morning, before any parties start this way i can actually see them!)
i agree thus far that fox hollow has thrown in the most stuff for the price, plus i feel that my BM hasn't been to 'salesy' like other places... but i'm still visiting a few more places before i sign anywhere.. thanks alot for your input!

Yea the only way I could have gotten the Garden Terrace room was if I did an afternoon wedding. I really wanted an evening wedding so it wasn't an option for me. But if your willing to do an afternoon than go for it. However the cocktail hour would be in the Hunt Room or outside.
