We are landing in UVF airport. I just called sandals and asked if we have to book for transportation to the resort after we land and she said no, that theres a sandals desk that we have to go to and they will provide us the transport. Just wondering was this true for all you girls? and how long did you have to wait at the airport for someone or are they just always on standby? Thanks!

I'm not sure...I know there was a sandals desk with shuttle service but we booked the helicopter from the airport to the resort so we didnt have a 2 hour ride. SOOO worth the money...it was really neat to see the island and get there faster!

yes it is true, i have been to other sandals locations and that is what we did
but for saint lucia we are booked on the helicopter

The helicopter was 160 per person per ride. It was WELL worth it!

Just an update: I just called sandals and asked about the helicopter. The price increased a little it's now $189 each.

thats ridic....but i really wanna do it, at least only for the way THERE...

Maybe I'll take the helicopter and meet him!
Is it a 2hr ride to all their resorts??? I know they have a bunch on the island. Maybe our Travel Agent should have mentioned this?

the ride to the resort from the airport - how long it is depends on which airport you're flying into.
how quick is the helicopter ride? I never even heard of this option!!!

Thanks so much for that idea. I am going to surprise FH with it when we get there. I know that is something we will never do again and yes, it is extra money but it will be a memory not to forget.

So I just spoke to FH about the whole helicopter thing and he was like honestly it's 328 bucks that we could put towards an excersion and then he says 'plus how do u think that your going to wanna get on a helicopter? i'm lucky that your actually getting on the plane' lolol he's right, I have suchhhh a fear of flying that I would totally have a freak out on the helicopter andddd thats prob. not the best way to start off our HM, haha! Guess i'll be getting some extra 'site seeing' in, lol.

we did the helicopter ride but from sandals to the airport becuase we then took a taxi to ladera but yea it was hr drive and the helicopter like 15 mins
