Does anyone know an approximate estimate of how much it costs for a contractor to build an extension on your house? I know it depends on the house and how you want it done, but for a basic plain 3-wall 25 foot by 25 foot extension? Anyone have this done? TIA!
1 floor? is it on a slab or you want basement under it?
there won't be a basement underneath - we'd built onto the outside of the house on top of the current grass. Yes, one story. Thanks!
Ok, its going to have to go on a slab (Im pretty sure) but Ill ask DH when he gets home around 7 for you ok.
Sorry to butt in on this thread but I have a similar question if you don't mind asking your DH. What about a dormer on a ranch house? We would want 3 bedrooms, bathroom, and a kitchen. The stairs would be on the outside. Thanks!
