Question for You Girls, Please let me know what you think...

I went to try on bridesmaid dresses with my girls,
5 girls, one dress looked amazing on all of them

But then there was this one dress that looked amazing on 2 of the girls

Is it ok to have a MOH and a BM wear a different dress, is it insulting to the MOH that the BM is wearing that dress as well.

The dress that looked amazing on all 5 was made of eggplant chiffon.
the other dress is half chiffon, and half satin, an amazing combination!

I'm not sure. Maybe if you do something with your MOH bouquet to set her apart? I really love that 2nd dress.

I think that if anyone is going to have a different dress, it should be the MOH. if 2 have different dresses, it might look like 2 MOH.

Yeah, I think either they should be all different, all the same, are all the same except MOH.

Hey I am doing the same Jim Hjelm BM's dress (the pink one), it is very flattering on all body types. I love it. Did you hear anything about the price for it?

I would only do a different dress for the MOH only, and the other girls have the same dress. Or, just have every one of them, including MOH have the same dress, but MOH a different color possibly.

BTW, their both very pretty dresses so you cant go wrong!

The first one is so pretty....I think if it looks great on all of them then you should get that one. MY MOH is wearing the same dress as the BM's (although dress undecided) but I'm getting her a bigger boquet and different color bouquet than the other girls to set her apart.

I really love the second dress..i would have your moh wear something else (different style and color shade) i like when the moh pops out anyway!

Both dresses are gorgeous, so if you want to have both of them, I would just put the MOH in a different dress and have all of the BMs wear the same dress.

Yes you can have the BM's and MOH's be in different dresses, thats all up to you. Both dresses are sooooo beautiful, where did you go to try them on?

I would have the MOH in a different dress but not the other BM. It might be confusing. As long as MOH loves the dress I don't see any problem with her in a different one.

i pretty much agree with everyone else on this - you can definitely have the MOH and BMs in different dresses or the same dress.

I am doing the same dress for all the girls - i thought of doing a different shade for the MOH, but decided i liked the idea of everyone in the same color. I am just going to do something different with her flowers and get her different jewelry maybe.

edit - forgot to say, both dresses are sooooo pretty!!

For some reason I can't see the second dress. But I vote for all in the same or only the MOH in a different dress. I mean if you did 3 and 2 you could, and alternate them, but because it's your MOH it throws off the alternating them in line.

Tough call, but I went with just MOH in a different dress. If all of your bms wore different dresses it would be a different story but if you had one bm in a diff dress it would make her stand out and she's not the MOH. Therefore let the MOH have a diff dress because she is a special bm and the other bm wear the dress as the other five....
At least that's what I would do...
