He has gotten them for me in the past but he really does not enjoy it. Now when ever we go shopping he picks up these super size packages that are like a year supply He tells me I need to stock up..... I guess he feels better when we buy them together than when I send him to buy them by himself.

i myself still get embarassed if i have to buy them and there is only a male cashier availible... and i get embarased if im picking the big boxes up at cosco's

Years ago, I would have said 'I HIGHLY doubt it' Well of course in an emergency case, he would. Actually I KNOW he would =)

He proved himself when I was having trouble BFing with my son, and he'd print me tons of stuff Id fwd to him at work on BFing, sore and cracked nipples (I CANT IMAGINE him having done this, LOL) just knowing that this info was helping me heal and educate myself, he'd print it with no problems, and come home with folders of stuff I wanted printed... and this is in a corporate world, LOL.... A few times his coworkers cracked jokes when they saw what was at the printer...
and then he went to BabiesRUS to buy me my 'nipple cream' he just went to the cashier and asked for it just like that 'nipple cream' and she pointed him in the right direction right away... He was so proud of himself when he came home..
I think just knowing the pain I was in and just having seen me go through labor, his pride and ego stepped right out the window and he did what needed to be done for me....

So I dont mind buying my own tampons, he proved his point and he'd probably get the wrong kind and forget the coupons anyway

as long as I am specific about size, brand, color of package these types of things are never a problem...now the chick flick I usually want to watch after he has brought them home, thats another story!

Yes he would.. Tampons.

Once I asked why he didnt flinch and that I found that interesting.. his answer

'It's not like they think it's for me'

Hrmm.. good point. Girl buys tampons and the guy behind the counter cowers or the lady gets 'that' look. A guy buys them and the guy behind the counter looks sympathic and the women look at him in awe.

*shrug*

Jim doesnt care.

ETA: Jim orders, picks up and pays for my Birth Control Pills as well.

probably only if is an emergency...whenever im with him and buy midol pills he dissapears until found them, then looks away when i buy them..

I would always ask Todd to get me tampons (I don't use pads) he has no problem with it..

yup in an emergency he'd buy them for me .. and knowing him he'd probably get 3 different types to make sure they were the right ones .. all while running in and out as quickly as he can so no one sees him
