Question for you ladies-Would your dh/fh pick up maxi pads for you?

Are you kidding me???

The other day, ok tmi coming- I was on the toilet and I asked him to pass me one from the cabinet and you should have seen the look on his face as he was touching it, he was like here you go and dropped it like a hot potato.

He wants no part of that stuff. Its ok though

DH has gone for me, but he hates to do it, I thnk mostly b/c he is mystified by all things feminine and overwhelmed by all the choices & options.

Funny story, my ex boyfriend before DH, I asked him to get me tampons and he came home with...Depends!!! I was like, do I look like an 80 year old who has bladder issues??!!?? Poor thing, he was so confused he just grabbed something and left the store. He said to me, its not like I could ASK someone what to get.

Yep, he hasn't had to do it yet but we've talked about it and he said he would. Who knows if he would bring home the right ones though

Thank you I thought I was the only one who had a FH that gets grossed out by any mention of it. It wasn't until last week that he finally found out that they are sticky on the back he was like 'ohhhhhhhhh that's how they stay there I thought they kinda just stayed there' Well after that I took samples out and explained how everything worked. I felt like a health teacher talking to a bunch of 5 graders.

Not to worry, my husband is so clueless about such things. I am always explaining things to him- even my Gyn appointments- he is amazed!!

The first time he did it was on our honeymoon. I expected him to complain, but he just asked me what brand and off he went.

When Nicolas was born he had to buy many more 'interesting' things for me. The man is a trooper.

Yes, he has.

My DH would do anything for me, including this. I use tampons and if I need them he'll buy them if I ask

he has done it before - and will do it again ...he doesn't get embarrassed at all about those things

Ditto for my hubby...nothing phases him.

I always make him buy me tampons...... he is sooo good to me

He got over it after the 5th month we were together. He even know my brand preference.


ETA: he does draw the line at contraceptives, though... that's usually my job, so I guess we are even in a way

Yes,(he's a doll) but he would probably get the wrong kind, like ultra long or something!!
