This is what bothers me... people get tip happy... why tip her for just doing her job??? If she went above and beyond then ok... but not if shes just doing what you are asking her to do...

I had a BM dress altered by a seamstress that was who did not work for a dress shop................because she charged me such a low price i did give her a little extra..................However if you use the seamstress in the dress place most times they charge above and beyond what they should get so a simple 'Thank you' will do it!

I'm getting a bridesmaid dress altered by my local cleaners (their tailor) I'm paying quite enough for this!!!!!!! so no im not even thinking about tipping..sorry.

I did just because she did such a great job. She even showed my girls how to bustle my dress after teh ceremony. But I think it's completely up to you.

i dont hink so for all the brides that got married that i know did not tip their stemstress.... You can use that tip for like your dj or someone else for that matter
